Now This time for add different meta tags for different post. Why you add different meta tags for different post ??
if you add meta tags only for Home page you will get little bit traffic from search engine but if you add different unique meta tags for Different post it makes the search engine to more about your individual blog posts and index your pages better and it also improve your search engine ranking .
How to Add different meta tags
- Log in to your blogger account
- Then go to Layout--> Edit Html
- Find this line
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
- Add this below code just after the above line
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "http://bloggertricks.com/"'>
<meta content='DESCRIPTION' name='description'/>
<meta content='KEYWORDS' name='keywords'/> </b:if>
- Complete it with your blog address,description and keywords Follow my This post
Above procedure to add meta tags for home page page .Now we add meta tags for different post for example http://bloggerlike.blogspot.com/how-to-add-meta-tags.html
Now Pasting the above three line again below the present code and changing with your link,description and keywords .so final codes looks like this
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "http://bloggerlike.blogspot.com/"'>
<meta content='DESCRIPTION' name='description'/>
<meta content='KEYWORDS' name='keywords'/> </b:if>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "http://bloggerlike.blogspot.com.com/2010/04/how-to-add-meta-tags.html"'>
<meta content='How to add meta tags,add meta tags for better SEO' name='description'/>
<meta content='meta tags,SEO,how to,blogger SEO' name='keywords'/> </b:if>
Just follow this above example and you can add different meta tags to as many blog post as you can .
